Every time i think of you, Midnight on the M42. In there early setting up the pit, Thats how you wanted it so that was it.
Raining or not you was out on the track, Cursing your missed run being towed right back. Comrades and friends were always at hand Especially at midnight dancing to the band.
Problems were faced, decisions were made, De beading the tyres with the help of a spade. Nothing could stop you from creating a buzz A lifetime of memories you have left for us.
As a friend and a person you will not be forgotten Next time at the track when the weather is rotten. We'll think of you and your smiling face Car is staged and you're ready to race.
A puff of smoke and the screeching of tyres Watching the rev counter getting higher and higher. 1/4 mile later at the end of the track Your itching again to be towed right back.
We will look for your clouds from racing in the sky We may not see you there way up high But smile we will when we think of you Hoping the sky isn't always blue.
Miss you mate!
