hi guys i'm plannin on swoppin my broke borgwarner 65 for a manual box so has anyone got one they could measure for me .....i need the distance from where the bellhousing meets the engine to the gear stick any advice would be apprieciated [like what else would do] drive train spec; rover sd1 borgwarner 65 volvo axle TA pedro
bad move, Rover box's are weak and you'll lose a seceond or so off your ET. Plus you'll probably break that volvo rearend. Rebuild the auto, it's quicker shifting, softer hit and no need to re-engineer anything.

I concur. Never broke mine but I only ended up running a 11.14 at 125 with mine.
cheers guys yeah i think i'll stik with the auto .got my eye on a G M box on e bay i'm presuming its the same dimensions as a borgy so i can just bolt it in . if anyone knows different pleeeeease let me know . hope to get on the track at least once this year!!!! might see ya there. cheers pedro.
