Just mix 50/50 petrol methanol in bottle to start for cold events

about 30/70 for warmer months (if that happens)

Hey Jim
I don't know anyone who has messed around with exotic cocktails in fuel tanks, do you?

Hi,

In theory Acetone with Methanol should be a good combo, Methanol has great anti knock capability but has a tendency towards pre-ignition, Acetone helps reduce that sensitivity. We used to run 50/50 Methanol and Petrol and used 3% acetone to keep it mixed, worked well for us. In reality if you run straight methanol it is a lot simpler and just adjust the start bottle mix. Or just use petrol to get it lit.

Just turn the blower up
