Saturday was rained off but there was a fair bit of action on Sunday with several new cars getting their first outing!! and several new members including young Gerald! There were no official series rounds this weekend but the above spot prizes were awarded. (plus the "altered" award was also given for the wild ride and great driving job Tony Smith did to keep his car off the guard rails!). Great to see Roy out in the green and purple-flamed "Hemi Hunter" just starting on the big learning curve and getting a few runs under his belt! Also great to see Keith realise his dream of his big-block rear-engined rail ("based" on "Alkymist") all resplendent with the Rainbow team colours. It's gonna be a great season!!!!! |
