The ET's shown represent personal bests achieved by the drivers at this weekend's racing!!! Track and weather were really good! [so were the drivers!] This season, the Wild Bunch are running a "bracket racing" style of eliminations at Super Series events and the new format brought some exciting and close races, including Sarah Howells in "The Nutcracker" narrowly defeating Colin Aldred in "Classy Chassy" by virtue of her reaction time, in round 1 of eliminations. This type of racing is new to many Wild Bunch drivers and most did well! The funniest moment of the weekend was Mark Coulsell 'dumping the laundry' on his "Limited Funz" slingshot off the line (AGAIN!!!!) and still running his personal best (at that time)! Unfortunate breakages of the weekend included Chris Hartnell's coupler on the "Backdraft" slingshot early Sunday [now fixed], and Dick Sharp's heads on the "Dorset Horn" altered late Sunday [also fixed]. Congratulations to Angi (and Roy) for winning the event (despite struggling with some temperamental fuel delivery problems!)! |
