The E.T.'s mentioned above are personal bests achieved this weekend.

Most cars got 2 qualifying and 1 practice run in on the Saturday, with notably Tony Smith running his best ever time with his mini body on the altered, followed quickly by his best time with the body removed - his first 11-second pass in "the cunning plan"!! (not to mention being top qualifier with a 12.306 on a 12.300 dial-in!).

Good to see Chevone back in the "Rainbow Chaser" (which is now up for sale to some lucky buyer to fund the Charman's alky rail in a big way!).

Angi & Roy had some more 'misfiring' problems, later diagnosed as 'running out of revs' because of having no third gear - soon have that sorted!

Steve goode had more teething problems with the nitrous and new set up on "Wobble", plus a puncture to contend with.

Both "Dog's Bollocks" drivers broke out and red-lit in succeeding rounds, in sympathy with each other, in qualifying. (bet they'll both be in the final together one of these events!).

Race day was hotter, and saw Tony Smith with a bye in the first round and some very close racing, including Angi Wilding narrowly beating Sarah Howells (despite Sarah running her best E.T. in "Nutcracker" of 13.760) by virtue of her reaction time (Sarah progressed an extra round at Super Series 1 with a good reaction - so both ladies pretty good at leaving!).

Quarter-finals saw Tony Smith narrowly losing to Chris Hartnell's best E.T. of the weekend (9.439) with a small breakout by Tony! (that altered's faster than you think Tone!).

Ray Ford had a bye and Angi defeated "B-Sting" (which broke a rear axle pinion bearing), doing the best reaction of the weekend, a .442 (that no-one else had got close to!).

The semi-finals saw Chris with a Bye, running a slower time after getting the wheels up! and Angi beat Ray Ford who had the smallest breakout of the weekend - just 8 thousandths!

The final saw Angi against Chris. [ the pair had been seen half an hour before this, mellowing right out under Roy's shady awning, "bench-racing" - pretty cool characters in the heat! (in fact, due to the conditions, Chris was seen pouring several bottles of water down inside his race suit to keep cool!)]. Chris had changed his dial-in from 9.40 to 9.50 for the first time this weekend and ran a 9.596 to Angi's 11.992, to take the win.

Chris Harnell would like to thank all of his "crew of thousands" at the weekend (which included the whole "Dog's Bollocks" team - towing and "one-run" Pete Watkins in his orange hot rod, on the Saturday; and Steve Goode and crew, "Dogs Bollocks Racing" again and the whole "B-Sting" team on the Sunday; plus Lee Hartnell for all his hard work!).
