Saturday
Friday had seen better weather than expected, and Saturday started off cloudy and reasonably warm, but the predicted rain soon fell, and kept falling intermittently throughout the whole day. The track crew started work several times, but the rain kept coming back, so the day was completely rained off!

Sunday (Series Points Day)
Sunday's weather was about the same as Saturday, and an early start was scheduled to try and make the best of the driest part of the day. The track did indeed open at about quarter to 10, and about 45 minutes of racing took place, although slick-tyred vehicles were not allowed on track during this time. Things were going well and the track was being sprayed with grip juice, when a huge bank of grey clouds dropped their entire contents! But the crew were out again as soon as it stopped raining, and after only an hour, the track was ready again. But after the very next pair of cars, the rains came again! This was intermittent for a couple of hours, and eventually many people started packing up, with more dark grey clouds on the horizon. After a bit more rain, the officials were finally forced to call a halt to the event, in the face of more clouds and a much reduced amount of racecars in the pits. Such a shame! Huge thanks to all the track crew, marshals and officials for working so hard to try to get the racing going! Their efforts were much appreciated!
