I think it depends on if you have a blower, if you have a steel firewall and if there is something separating you from the transmission. If your blown alcohol and front engined open bodied then you must have a 3.2a -20 suit. If your not blown, and dont have a steel firewall or transmission is in the drivers compartment then i believe you need a -15, otherwise I think its a -5 suit being the minimum. |

OK, Blown Methanol front engine dragster = 3.2a/20 suit. Ed Yates quoted me £925 for one. I think an open face helmet is ok too, but you have to make sure you have the right balaclava after Ashley Bell got burnt in his cobra. Best check the rulebook on that front. |

Its only if you do 7.49 or quicker you need a 3.2A-20 slower than that just needs a 3.2A-15 Tony
Front engine, supercharged or turbocharged, open bodied car, OR any car with a torque converter in drivers compartment (no floor covering transmission)- jacket and pants or suit meeting SFI spec 3.2A/15, gloves meeting SFI spec 3.3/5 and boots or shoes meeting SFI spec 3.3/5 mandatory. 9.99 |

Hi,
This is Ed from DS Racewear. Yes, I'm sorry my website is down for maintenance at the moment and its taking longer than I had hoped.
If you drop me an email to mail@dsracewear.co.uk I will send you some details of the suits.
Tony is quite right when he says you only have to have a -20 suit if you are running quicker than 7.49.
Drop me an email and we can go from there.
Cheers
Ed |
